Is Interior Design a Reason to Welcome the Boxee Box into the Home?
Reviewer admits that his wife’s opinion was a factor – aside from “open” video advantages
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution posted an insightful Q&A about streaming video via alternate TV input sources like Blu-Ray players, DVD players with Netflix and just plain old computer connections. (It’s the 2nd question in the list.)
The journalist makes a good technical case for opting for a Boxee Box by D-Link, but his more subtle reply involved his wife:
“And, unlike a computer, the device is small and stylish. A computer in the den wouldn’t bother me at all. But my wife finds the tiny and good-looking Boxee Box easier to live with.”
In terms of technical superiority, he cites some of the things we already enjoy like the fact that:
“It also seems more reliable, as far as avoiding screen freezes and other problems, than when I connect using my Wi-Fi-ready DVD player.”
Good advice.. thanks for the props Bill Husted.
