So, can I use Powerline Carrier to attach my router to the modem in order to put it in a more convenient place for WiFi thorough the house?

    • Fiona Hutcheson says:

Hi Dwight – great question. Although you can technically use PowerLine for that function, we don’t recommend it because doing so may affect the performance of your Internet. We do carry a PowerLine extender that might be the perfect product for your needs, though. It’s a PowerLine adapter with wireless functionality that can be used to create a wireless zone in a part of your home that isn’t within your router’s wireless reach. You can learn more here.

do you have anythig that extends your network futher than your home or anything that allows you to receive internet out side of your home ?

Hi Alan! If you’re looking for a stronger Wi-Fi connection in your backyard or on your front porch, I highly recommend the Whole Home Router 1000 with SmartBeam technology. SmartBeam’s 6 multi-directional antennas find and track individual devices on your network, then focus beams of bandwidth to those devices, ensuring a seamless connection anywhere in your home. I appreciate the effort to provide education to your users, but if the only avenue you have is watching videos, you can count me out. I don’t mind reading a text file even with no pictures or anything. It is the subject matter i’m interested in and i love movies but not for learning. anyway, most video producers are very poor teachers.

    thanks for listening

It’s looks nice. But what is the cost?
